Policy / 03Privacy policy
Personal information,
handled with purpose.
This policy explains what TOUR CROPS collects, why it is used, who may receive it, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.
Scope and responsibility
TOUR CROPS LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy when you visit this website, shop, submit checkout or support information, or otherwise interact with TOUR CROPS online.
TOUR CROPS designates WooCommerce as its commerce platform. When a WooCommerce service or another ecommerce, carrier, or payment service is enabled and used through the live website, that provider may process information under its own privacy notice. This policy does not control a third party's independent practices.
Information we collect
The categories depend on how you use the website and which store functions are active.
- Contact information, such as name, email address, telephone number, and message content.
- Order and delivery information, such as products, quantities, price, order number, recipient, and shipping address.
- Limited payment and transaction information, such as payment status, amount, currency, provider reference, and limited billing details returned by a payment provider.
- Product, return, refund, cancellation, delivery, and customer-service records.
- Device and request information, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages requested, timestamps, referring page, and security or error events.
- Cart and session information stored in the browser to keep selected items and maintain necessary store functions.
- Preferences and marketing choices when a consent-based communication feature is offered and used.
Where information comes from
We collect information directly from you when you enter it, automatically from the browser and website infrastructure, and from service providers involved in payments, fraud prevention, hosting, fulfillment, delivery, or customer care.
We may also receive information from another person who places an order for you or identifies you as a recipient. Do not provide another person's information unless you are authorized to do so.
How we use information
- Provide the website, preserve cart or session state, and display requested content.
- Review, accept, fulfill, deliver, cancel, return, refund, and keep records of orders.
- Verify information, manage risk, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect the website and customers.
- Respond to product, order, policy, accessibility, and privacy questions.
- Comply with accounting, recordkeeping, legal-process, and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, measure, and improve store reliability and usability.
- Send marketing communication only when a lawful consent or other valid basis exists, and honor opt-out requests.
Payment information
When the live checkout offers an online payment method, payment credentials are entered in the payment interface made available for that method. TOUR CROPS receives the transaction result and limited payment metadata needed to manage the order; it does not ask customers to send full card numbers or security codes by email or customer-service message.
The active payment provider applies its own security, retention, identity-verification, and legal requirements. The payment methods shown in checkout are the methods available for that transaction.
Who may receive information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to:
- Website hosting, database, security, infrastructure, and technical-support providers.
- WooCommerce, when enabled and used through the live website, and other ecommerce, payment, fraud-prevention, accounting, and order-management providers.
- Fulfillment providers, carriers, postal services, customs authorities, and delivery partners.
- Customer-support, email, and communication providers used for the requested service.
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, regulators, courts, law enforcement, and other parties when disclosure is required or legally justified.
- A buyer, investor, lender, or successor involved in a genuine corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses browser storage and similar technologies that are necessary to keep cart selections, preserve a secure session, balance traffic, prevent abuse, and operate requested features. Removing or blocking necessary storage may cause the cart or checkout to stop working correctly.
This website does not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and TOUR CROPS does not sell personal information for money. If those practices change, this policy and any legally required choice mechanism will be updated before the change applies.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant order, customer-service, security, accounting, dispute, and legal purposes. Retention depends on the record type, relationship, sensitivity, risk, and applicable legal requirements.
Some records may be preserved longer when needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, comply with a lawful hold, or prevent repeated fraud or abuse. Browser-held cart information can be removed through the browser, although necessary session information may be recreated during later use.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information in light of its nature and the store's operation. No website, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Use a private device when accessing order information, protect your email account, and never send passwords or complete payment credentials through a customer-service message.
Privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; to withdraw consent; or to appeal a decision. Some information may be exempt, and we may need to verify identity and authority before acting.
A request should identify the person, the interaction or order involved, and the right being exercised without sending payment credentials or unnecessary identity documents. You may use an authorized agent where applicable law permits it.
International processing
Website and commerce providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use contractual, organizational, or other recognized safeguards for an international transfer.
Children
This storefront is directed to a general adult shopping audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information should contact us so the record can be reviewed.
Policy changes and contact
We may revise this policy when store functions, providers, or legal requirements change. A material revision applies from the effective notice presented with the revised policy and does not retroactively reduce rights without a lawful basis.
For a privacy request or question, email kimberly@tourcropsllc.com. Include enough information to identify the relevant interaction, but do not send payment credentials.
