Fit starts with
a real measurement.
When an item states dimensions, use the same units and method, measure more than once, and compare the result directly. If dimensions are absent, contact customer care rather than estimating from an image.
Before measuring
When measurements are stated on a product page, those values control. Check whether a listed value describes internal diameter, circumference, wearable length, overall length, width, drop, or another dimension before comparing it. If no measurement is shown, do not estimate scale from the image; contact customer care before ordering.
- Use a flexible measuring tape or a non-stretch strip that can be measured against a ruler.
- Measure at the position where the accessory will sit without pulling the tape tight.
- Record the result in millimeters and compare it only when exact product dimensions are stated.
- Measure more than once and use the same method each time.
Compare a known fit
When possible, measure an accessory that already fits you well. Compare like with like: internal diameter to internal diameter, wearable length to wearable length, and closure range to closure range.
Do not add an allowance unless the product page explains one. A close, regular, or relaxed fit depends on the item structure as well as the body measurement.
Accuracy note
Screens and printable references can scale differently. Use a physical ruler or measuring tape for the final measurement. If a listed dimension or method is unclear, ask about that product before ordering.
